Pigmentation Instructions in the App #
These are instructions for how to use the “pigmentation” function in the mixing app. For instructions on how the different products should be mixed, please read the product information on the website.
Tips for the page to fill in (see further down for the calculation page):
- Choose whether you are pigmenting a full bucket.
We always recommend pigmenting a full bucket to ensure the correct color. With smaller amounts, the shade may vary slightly. This can be useful, for example, on the first layer if you want to save material or if you are making samples (keep in mind the potential color variation).
If you choose not to pigment a full bucket, a new field will appear where you enter how much cement (Component A) should be pigmented. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
- Select the material you want to pigment.
- Select the color you want to mix.
Calculation page:
In the top box you will see your choices from the previous steps—always double-check here to make sure everything is correct.
In the lower box you will see how much pigment should be added to the mix. Water must also be added. As a guideline:
- approx. 100 g of water if using less than 100 g of pigment
- approx. 150 g of water if using less than 300 g of pigment
- approx. 200–250 g of water when using more than that.
